How to switch from the Google Translate widget: the short answer
Google says its Website Translator widget is no longer supported from October 1, 2026, and it has not been open to new commercial sites since 2020. The widget translated pages in the visitor's browser, so there was nothing to export and nothing Google could index. Find the old widget
Search your site's HTML or theme for translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js or google.translate.TranslateElement. That is the code you will remove at the end.
