¿Cómo agregar miembros a mi proyecto?

Team is included on the Pro plan and above. Members work on your site from their own ConveyThis sign-in; the site, its plan and its billing stay on your account.

The four roles

There are three roles you can give someone — Translator, Manager and Admin — and you, the Propietario. What each may do:

Every team member still manages billing for their own ConveyThis account; the last row is about the site owner’s account.

Traductor

Translators edit translations, add glossary rules, and download translations as CSV or TMX.

Can:

• Edit translations, in the translation editor and in the visual editor.
• Add glossary rules, so certain words are always translated the same way or left untranslated.
• Download the site’s translations as CSV or TMX files.

Cannot:

• Upload translation files (CSV or TMX).
• Exclude pages or parts of pages from translation, or edit the whitelist.
• See the team or invite anyone.
• Change languages or widget settings, or publish and unpublish the site.
• See billing, or delete the site.

Gerente

Managers do everything translators do, and also upload translation files, exclude pages and content from translation, and add or remove translators.

Can:

• Everything a translator can: edit translations, add glossary rules, download translations.
• Upload translation files (CSV or TMX).
• Exclude pages or parts of pages from translation, and edit the whitelist.
• See the team, and add or remove translators.

Cannot:

• Add or remove managers or admins.
• Change languages or widget settings, or publish and unpublish the site.
• Connect the site to Cloudflare or change its DNS setup.
• See billing, or delete the site.

Administrador

Admins do everything managers do, and also change languages and widget settings, publish or unpublish the site, and add or remove managers and admins. Admins cannot see billing or delete the site.

Can:

• Everything a manager can: translations, glossary, uploads and downloads, exclusions, whitelist.
• Add or remove translators, managers and other admins.
• Add or remove languages and change widget settings. Languages count against the site owner’s plan.
• Publish and unpublish the site.
• Connect the site to Cloudflare and manage its DNS setup.

Cannot:

• See the owner’s billing, invoices or plan, or change the plan.
• Delete the site, or disconnect it from Cloudflare.

How to add someone

1. Sign in and open Dominios.
2. On the site’s card, open its menu and choose Equipo.
3. Under Translators, Managers or Admins, type the person’s email address and click Add.

What happens next depends on whether they already use ConveyThis:

• They have a ConveyThis account — they are on your team at once and receive an email with a link to your site’s translations.
• They have no account — they receive an invitation. From its link they choose a password and land directly in your site’s translations. No plan or card is needed and there is no setup wizard: they are your translator, not a new customer. Invitations work for 7 days; you can Resend o Withdraw one from the same Team page.

Who may add whom

• Gerentes add or remove translators.
• Administradores and the Propietario add or remove translators, managers and admins.
• Nobody can remove themselves — ask an admin or the owner.

How to remove someone

On the Team page, click Remove next to their email address. They keep their own ConveyThis account; they simply no longer see your site.

What a member sees

The first time a member opens your site they see a short panel — “You are a Translator on example.com” — listing what they can and cannot do, with your name as the person to ask for more. Your access on their Domains page reopens it at any time.
