How to switch from Weglot: the short answer
To switch from Weglot, export your translations from the Weglot dashboard as CSV, upload the file in ConveyThis under Translation Management → CSV/TMX → Import Weglot Translations, keep the same URL structure (for example /fr/), check the site, and only then remove the Weglot snippet. ConveyThis converts the Weglot CSV format automatically, and translation import is free on every plan, including Free. Check your Weglot plan first, because Weglot says its export is available on Advanced and higher plans.

Export from Weglot
In Weglot, open Projects → Translations → Languages → Actions → Export and download a CSV for each language pair. Visit or sync your translated pages first so the export is complete.

Open your key pages in each language, fix anything in the visual editor, then replace the Weglot snippet or plugin with ConveyThis. Cancel Weglot only after the new setup is live and checked.

Can I export my translations from Weglot?
Yes, if your Weglot plan includes it. Weglot's help center says import/export is available on Advanced and higher plans, in CSV or XLIFF. If you are on a smaller Weglot plan, you can let ConveyThis translate the site fresh and re-apply your most important edits in the visual editor or as glossary rules.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I leave Weglot?
Not if the URLs stay the same. Keep the same language structure (for example /fr/ or fr.example.com), make sure each language page still returns 200, and ConveyThis serves the translated page with hreflang on the same address.
Is importing Weglot translations a paid add-on?
No. Translation import, including the Weglot CSV converter, is included on every ConveyThis plan, including Free.
Should I remove Weglot first?
No. Set up ConveyThis, import and review, and only then swap the snippet or plugin. Keep Weglot active until you have checked the new setup.
