How do I add ConveyThis to Weebly?

The easiest way to translate a Weebly website is the ConveyThis app from the Weebly App Center. The app connects your site to ConveyThis and adds the code for you.

Step 1. Install the app

  1. Open ConveyThis in the Weebly App Center and click Connect (or Add).
  2. Choose the Weebly site you want to translate and allow access.

Step 2. Set up your languages

ConveyThis opens after the install.

  • New to ConveyThis? Your account is created for you with the email address of your Weebly account.
  • Already connected before? You are logged in to the same ConveyThis account.

Your Weebly site address is filled in for you. Choose the language your site is written in and the Languages to translate into, then finish the setup. If the website is already in your account, its Settings page opens instead.

Step 3. Publish and check

  1. In Weebly, click Publish so the change goes live.
  2. Open your website. The language switcher appears in the bottom right corner. Choose a language to see your translated page.

To manage translations later, open the app from your Weebly dashboard or log in to your ConveyThis dashboard.

Install by code instead

If you prefer not to use the app, you can add the code yourself.

  1. In your ConveyThis dashboard, click Add Domain, choose Weebly under Website platform and enter your domain and languages. Then use this code:

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your API key. You find it on your ConveyThis dashboard under Public API key (it starts with pub_).

  1. In Weebly, click Edit site.
