About this role

ConveyThis makes websites multilingual. We are a small software company in New York City, and we are starting a paid, three-month internship for people at the beginning of their careers who want to learn how a software company finds customers, gets them set up, and keeps them. You will work in our New York office, directly with the founder, on real customers and a live product from your first week. Interns who do well can move into a junior full-time role on the path to GTM (go-to-market) engineer: someone who builds the systems, automations and content that grow a software business.

What you'll do:

  • Customer success: answer customer questions, help new users install ConveyThis on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow and other platforms, and write down what keeps going wrong.
  • User onboarding: follow up with new sign-ups, find where they get stuck, and improve the emails, guides and help articles that get them to a working translated site.
  • Product: test new features, report bugs clearly, and ship small improvements with AI coding tools under code review.
  • Growth: research prospects and competitors, run small marketing experiments, and measure what worked.

How the program works:

  • Weeks 1–2: learn the product by installing and supporting it yourself.
  • Weeks 3–6: own a share of customer support and new-user onboarding.
  • Weeks 7–12: build one project of your own that moves a number we care about, and present the result.
  • Written feedback at the midpoint, and a decision about a junior full-time role before the internship ends.

Who we're looking for:

  • Entry-level: no previous full-time experience required.
  • A bachelor's degree in any field, completed before you start.
  • Clear written and spoken English; you can explain a technical problem to a non-technical person.
  • Curious about software and comfortable using AI tools every day. Coding experience helps but is not required.
  • Something you built or ran yourself: a website, a side project, a student organization, a small business.
  • Able to work on-site in New York City, Monday to Friday, for the full three months.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the length of the internship. We cannot sponsor employment visas for this role.

Pay and details: $20–$25 per hour. Paid internship, 40 hours a week for three months, on-site in New York, NY. We are hiring two to three interns. Start date: as soon as possible.
