Create ConveyThis Account

Create a ConveyThis account here. Your ConveyThis account dashboard lets you view and manage all your translations.

Configure Your Integration

Select Bubble as your website technology. Enter your domain name and indicate the languages you want to translate your website into. Click "Next" to proceed through the setup steps.

Install in Bubble Dashboard

Log in to your Bubble Dashboard and navigate to Settings > SEO / metatags. Paste the JavaScript code from ConveyThis into the Script/meta tags in header field.

Test and Manage

Visit your website to see the language switcher appear at the bottom right (may take a few minutes). Test the functionality and manage all your translations through the ConveyThis dashboard.

Bubble app translation: common questions

How do I add ConveyThis to a Bubble app?
Create a ConveyThis account, choose Bubble as your platform, and enter your domain and languages. In the Bubble editor open Settings → SEO / metatags and paste the ConveyThis snippet into "Script/meta tags in header", then deploy to live. The switcher appears in the bottom-right corner. See the Bubble setup guide.
Are repeating groups, popups and dynamic data translated?
Yes. The widget watches the page for new content, so repeating groups filled from your Bubble database, popups, and pages you move to without a full reload are translated when they appear.
Will it change my workflows or the data in my database?
No. ConveyThis changes only the text displayed in the visitor's browser. Workflows, API calls and plugins run exactly as before, and the data stored in your Bubble database stays in its original language.
Can I keep some text untranslated?
Yes. Add product names, user names or codes to the glossary as "never translate", use excluded-page rules for pages such as an admin area, or restrict translation to a whitelist of pages.
Do translated Bubble pages get their own URLs?
Not yet. Bubble apps can use ConveyThis in the default mode or with a language URL parameter, but fr. sub-domains and /fr/ folders are not available for Bubble right now. It is on our roadmap, and the URL structure guide will be updated when it is ready.
